Let The Guelph Country Club host your next conference or corporate meeting

Facility offers a variety of eat, work and play options

As a result of the social distancing measures businesses in all industries had to implement during the COVID-19 pandemic, millions of employees had no choice but to interact using online engagement platforms like ZOOM or Microsoft Teams. Now with workplaces slowly returning to normal, the thought of attending in person meetings back in the office has managers looking for more inspiring options.

One such potential off-site meeting location is The Guelph Country Club & Jesse’s on the Green, a recreational oasis for not only golfers but also for businesses looking to get the most out of their teams.

Whether it’s for corporate brainstorming sessions, strategic planning initiatives, or simply for motivational team meetings, The Guelph Country Club facility provides the perfect venue for hosting such events.

“We’re fully equipped with state-of-the-art audio video equipment,” said Rod Pollock, Director Of Hospitality and owner of Jesse’s on the Green. “We’ve got overhead projectors, 65-inch televisions that are mobile so you can use them anywhere. We supply everything. There’s free parking and great meal packages that can be customized.”

White boards, flip charts, markers and other meeting necessities are all part of any meeting package booked at the Club. Pollock said another important service is top of the line Ubiquiti UniFi 6 Access Points WiFi capabilities to ensure there are no connectivity issues during important meetings.

“I get that question a lot when people are looking to book,” said Pollock. “How reliable is the WiFi? There’s nothing more frustrating than unreliable WiFi, especially with ZOOM meetings. I can guarantee up to 400 mbps WiFi so we can handle the needs of our guests.”

The Guelph Country Club also offers a private patio for meetings, so those in attendance can enjoy lunch outside before reconvening for the rest of the day. The Club offers two primary meeting options:

  • the Heritage Room for up to 25 guests, or
  • the recently renovated Waverly Room and lounge which can accommodate up to 100

For companies that want to combine business with a little leisure and recreation, there are plenty of distractions to take the stress off a busy day of meetings according to Pollock.

“We have pickleball, golf, shuffleboard, and lots of side games. There’s also the putting green. Sometimes it’s just a great way to break up the monotony of a meeting. There are lots of things to do.”

Food is a very important aspect of any productive meeting, and Jesse’s Catering is on hand at the Club to provide a variety of menu packages or customized lunch and dinner options. With the summer season at hand, the schedule will book up quickly. To inquire about a booking, visit them online.
