Guelph Little Theatre celebrating unity in community since 1935 - 85th Season

By Lynne McIntee

Guelph Little Theatre is on the move and getting back in the swing of things with some upcoming on-line projects as we enter our 85th season this 2020-21.

We embrace this new season with what matters most to us, and that is you, our community! We are excited to partner with local Author Marion Reidel for Café Conversations, a video project posted in late August as a kick start fundraiser for the theatre. The 4 Vignettes are based on Marion’s book of short stories that were performed, pre-recorded and will be shown online for continuous viewing while directing our audience to consider making a donation to our community theatre. Stay tuned to our Youtube channel and social media.

Next up, in mid-September is MANU, The Puppeteer and Storyteller. GLT and MANU have partnered to bring you on-line programming this month focusing on Exploring the World through Unity and Inclusion in the world of puppets with a variety of activities which will include storytelling, music, reading and crafts.

These community partnership projects are bringing us together to move forward and shine light on this 100% volunteer run non-profit organization, the heartbeat of the community, while embracing these new collaborations. There is a place for us in the history of our community and this truly is to be celebrated. Stay tuned for updates on plans to celebrate our 85th year in the City of Guelph.

If you would like to DONATE to our theatre, please visit our website or get in contact with us! We would be over the moon to hear from you!
