Arthur woman charged with impaired driving in Fergus hospital parking lot

TOWNSHIP OF CENTRE WELLINGTON - On June 20, 2021, at approximately 2:40 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a possible impaired driver in the parking lot of Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus.

Officers located the vehicle and while speaking with the driver, signs of impairment were detected and they were placed under arrest.

As a result, Shelley Katherine Perry, 32 years old of Arthur has been charged with operation while impaired - 80 plus contrary to the Criminal Code.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice - Guelph on July 23, 2021 to answer to the charge.
