ROCKWOOD – The Township of Guelph/Eramosa has approved a plan to build 50 townhouses on the village's northern edge.
Council approved site plan approval for the project at 5150 Wellington Road 27 at Tuesday's meeting.
The townhouses will be built on a 1.45-hectare strip of land near the intersection of Wellington Road 27 and Brebeuf Path.
At one time the development was intended to have 41 semi-detached homes before the plan was revised.
Due to a mistake in related documentation, the matter was deferred from a previous council meeting.
The developer is North Rockwood Developments Inc.
