MAPLETON — Council has passed a bylaw allowing a new subdivision, with 11 single detached houses, to be erected in Glen Allan.
The approval came at Tuesday night's council meeting. The exact location is on the west side of Wellington Road 45, between Centre and South Mill streets.
The subdivision will intersect with South Mill Street, Hill Street and Centre Street.
The residential units will largely be built around a cul-de-sac called George Street. In the southwest corner of the subdivision there will also be a stormwater management area.
Previously there was a slowdown as the subdivision was pending approval of the County of Wellington. That approval came on Nov. 29.
