MAPLETON – Initial planning for the future water/wastewater needs of Mapleton Townshiop is underway.
The Master Plan Study will be carried out under the guidance of the Ontario Environmental Assessment Act, Municipal Class Environmental Assessment to ensure the township infrastructure development considers environmental impact, local public needs and individual project requirements.
This infrastructure planning, related to water/wastewater systems, will ensure that the needs of Mapleton residents and local staff will be in place for the next 30 years and beyond.
Mapleton Township is going to have a Public Information Centre (PIC) on Oct. 12 to go over the initial preferred strategies for the eventual infrastructure.
