ARTHUR – A report from Wellington North staff recommends entering into a subdivision agreement for another phase of development in northeast Arthur consisting of over 100 units.
This development, called Eastridge Landing, is for the third and fourth phase of construction by Pinestone Homes.
According to the Pinestone Homes website, the first two phases have around 50 units in the Schmidt Drive area which are sold out.
The report to Wellington North council says the owner is proposing to include an additional 37 single detached, 38 semi-detached and 28 on-street townhouse units in this next phase.
The project will include installation of services, site grading, erosion and sediment control, drainage, stormwater management, street lighting and landscaping.
“The applicant has satisfied staff that this proposed development will be constructed in a manner that is consistent with municipal standards and best practices,” the report reads.
This subdivision agreement will go to Wellington North council for approval at a virtual council meeting on Monday at 7 p.m.
