Lynn is a devotee of all things locally-flavoured, loves a good story, and knows that everyone has one. She has the deepest respect for growers and makers from all walks of life, a hunger for both urbanism and farm fields, and an appetite that just won’t quit. She came to live in Wellington County in 1984 after living a rich childhood of travel and residency throughout Canada, Europe, and Africa. Her Mum was a pioneer foodie, whose own table exposed her to a world of cooking and taste, but she discovered the truly unifying power of food working within various restaurant cultures since she was a teenager. She then spent 14 years at the Downtown Guelph Business Association where she promoted the downtown core businesses, produced food and cultural events, and directed marketing and communications.
A self-professed Gastronaut, Lynn has planted herself in Guelph where she has 30 years of experience with food, events, arts & culture, and tourism. She is a certified Food Tour Professional who is sweet on Wellington County and all its flavour. Let Lynn put the regional taste experience into context for you.
