At a young age, Derek developed a keen interest in numbers and investments. He majored in Math and Physics in College, however, his ‘hands on’ mentality led him into the construction industry. He excelled in exterior renovations for 15 years, working on everything from Century homes to new builds. His hard work and dedication prompted him to purchase his first home at the age of 23 and his second, an investment property, at age 24. In 2015, Derek and his wife purchased their dream property in Ariss, completely renovated it, and have since welcomed into it their four children.
Derek’s wife, Jennifer, started her career as a Real Estate Administrator in 2011 which perked Derek’s interest in Real Estate further and allowed him to keep up with current market trends. He finally decided to take the leap and become a Realtor so that he could share his knowledge and passion for Real Estate and investing with others.
Fun Fact: I have jumped out of a plane willingly and would do it again!
