A Mississauga man was arrested for impaired driving following a driving complaint in Guelph Thursday night.
Approximately 10:25 p.m. another motorist called police to report a suspected drunk driver. Police located the vehicle in a parking lot on Stone Road West and immediately noted a strong odour of alcohol on the driver’s breath. He failed a roadside breath test and was transported to the police station, where further tests confirmed he had more than the legal amount of alcohol in his system.
A 27-year-old Mississauga man is charged with impaired driving. His licence was suspended for 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for seven days.
