GuelphToday received the following letter paying tribute to emergency service workers in Guelph.
I think it time we recognize our wonderful emergency services in Guelph.
Twice in the past year I have required them.
Last summer, a fire in my furnace brought Guelph fire to my home in the middle of the night. This weekend I required our paramedics. Both times they were prompt, professional, efficient and empathetic.
The women and men of our service deserve our thanks and respect.
And one more thing, when you see those flashing lights, pull over.
