Guelph's Jaxon Camp signs pro hockey deal

The Guelph Minor Hockey product and former University of Guelph Gryphon has signed with the ECHL's Fort Wayne Komets

After wrapping up his season as a member of the University of Guelph Gryphons, Jaxon Camp has moved on to the pro ranks.

Camp, a defenceman, has signed a deal with the Fort Wayne Komets of the ECHL.

Camp, a Guelph Minor Hockey grad, had three goals and 12 assists in 28 games with the U of G this past season. In 69 career games with the Gryphons he had six goals and 25 assists.

Fort Wayne currently sits sixth in the ECHL Western Conference with a 26-22-2-3 record.
