Guelph Police responded to 146 calls for service

The following news releases were issued today by the Guelph Police Service:

Black and white KHS Zoco bicycle stolen
Approximately one week ago, a residential garage located near the intersection of Victoria Road South and Arkell Road in the City of Guelph was entered. A black and white KHS Zoco bicycle with a silver water bottle holder was stolen.

Multiple thefts from motor vehicles
Sometime between Dec. 13 and Dec. 14, 2019, the front license plate was stolen off a vehicle parked in the City of Guelph.

Sometime between 8 p.m. on Dec. 14 and 8 a.m. on Dec. 15, 2019, a vehicle parked outside a residence located near the intersection of Victoria Road North and Woodlawn Road East in the City of Guelph was entered. Multiple items were taken including a garage door opener remote, the vehicle’s ownership document and $10 worth of coins.

Emergency Services 8th annual Food Drive
The 8th annual Emergency Services Food Drive supporting the Guelph Food Bank took place on Saturday, Dec. 14, 2019. The Guelph Police Service partnered with our Emergency Services partners at Guelph-Wellington Paramedic Services and Guelph Fire Department to participate in a joint venture food drive at the Zehrs located at 1045 Paisley Road in the City of Guelph.

This year 18,244.1 lbs of food was donated.
