Woman wanted on outstanding warrants to face numerous charges

She was arrested after police responded to a downtown disturbance call

On Dec. 16, 2019 at 8:45 p.m., members of the Guelph Police Service were dispatched to an apartment located in the downtown core of the City of Guelph in regards to a disturbance involving an adult female.

Police attended the scene, identified the female and soon learned she was wanted on two warrants for failing to attend court on Sept. 20, 2019 in regards to a theft under $5,000 offence, and failing to re-attend court on Sept. 3, 2019 in regards to the offences of fraudulent use of credit card, breach probation, fail to attend, fail to appear, possess property obtained by crime and theft under $5,000.

A 28-year-old Guelph female was held in custody for a bail hearing taking place on Dec. 17, 2019.
