ROCKWOOD – A new playground is coming to Rockmosa Park in the next two months.

According to a new public notice, the playground at Rockmosa Park and a small portion of the parking lot will be closed for approximately seven weeks starting Monday to facilitate the construction of a new playground and other upgrades.

Included in the 2024 budget, the project will be paid for using reserves and is anticipated to cost just over $100,000, including $65,000 for the play structure and surface replacement.
