It could be the one and only time you get a chance to hear from candidates running for city council in Guelph in person.

A pair of public forums are being held next month featuring candidates running in the six wards.

It's being hosted by 10 Carden and SDG Cities, and being held at the 10C Shared Space at 42 Carden St.

The forum will have a focus on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, which they say provides clear objectives to help hold governments and elected officials accountable.

Wards 1, 2 and 3 candidates will take centre stage on Wednesday, Oct. 5 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Wards 4, 5 and 6 candidates will go Wednesday, Oct. 12 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.

You can register for either event online through EventBrite.

All attendees are being asked to wear masks and to refrain from wearing scents.
