The 26th annual Guelph Dance Festival is happening May 31 to June 2, 2024. Guelph Dance presents Jillian Peever for the IN THE LAB presentation on Saturday, June 1 at 4 PM.
Jillian Peever will be performing a captivating solo work 'The view from here' with choreography by Sasha Ivanochko. ‘The view from here’, with its striking set, lighting, sound and costume design will be performed at the state-of-the-art ImprovLab.
"A sculptural slow burn. A confined space and a woman with volume. The source is the body. The body in action reveals truths. With an emphasis on task-based creative process, the individual emerges, and navigates her whole being with aliveness as she traverses the depths of reality through both stillness and fervor."
