The Guelph Farmers’ Market has been a community cornerstone in Guelph since 1827. One of Guelph’s oldest and well-loved community spaces offers fresh local food, artisanal products and a friendly, welcoming atmosphere year round. The Guelph Farmers’ Market continues a tradition of pride and community building supporting the local economy, sustainability and entrepreneurship.
As of March 1st, 2022, 10C has assumed the operations and activation of the Farmers’ Market building, grounds and events therein – and we are excited to be on this journey of collaboration with the Guelph-Wellington community!
Saturdays year-round: 8:00am to 1:00pm
Thursdays starting May 25 until October 31: 4:00pm to 7:00pm
The Farmers’ Market building is available for use by community groups and individuals for a limited number and type of meetings and events. More information about using the Farmers’ Market space for your event can be found on the Meetings & Events page or by contacting [email protected]. We’re excited to hear from you!
In 2023, 10C is leading the revitalization of the Guelph Farmers’ Market, in order to breathe new life into this underused space. From intimate coffee dates and small classes to weddings and trade shows, the updated building will offer a uniquely historic stage for gatherings of all shapes and sizes.
The goal is to enhance the market as a key local and regional gathering place and tourism destination. This will be achieved through building improvements, adding a commercial kitchen and promotional infrastructure to increase local food activities and special events.
