Start2Finish is a not-for-profit organization running free after-school programs at partner elementary schools with an emphasis on literacy, physical activity and social emotional learning in a little over 70 under-resourced communities across Canada. Our mission is to break the cycle of child poverty by providing ongoing educational support to Canada’s at-risk children throughout their school years, nurturing mind, body and social health so they are empowered to succeed and become role models for change.
Our main program is our running and reading clubs that run once a week after school. We have 5 locations that operate in the Guelph area. We are always looking for volunteers to help facilitate our running and reading programs. They happen once a week after school for 2 hours. Our volunteers follow our program manual to facilitate the sessions.
