I have explored crafty and creative activities all of my life. My creative pursuits include: bread making, baking, cooking, gardening and paper crafting.
My husband, Ken and I have been married since 1990. We are blessed with two wonderful son who live and work at home with their own business Andosh Accessible Gaming where they customize game controllers for people with disabilities, repair video game consoles and do custom designs and 3 D printing. We are out numbered by the pets in our house which include a 17 year old rescued orange and white tabby cat, a rescued feral Maine coon cat, a love bird, a pair of society finches, a chinchilla and a shrimp.
Designing and creating cards allows me many different ways to be create with numerous techniques used on their own or combined together include: layering, embossing 9hot or dry), die cuts, stamping, spirelli, paper tole, quilling, iris folding, teabag folding, painting, colouring, piercing and so much more! Some cards are quick to assemble while other can take much longer to put together. Card making allows for limitless possibilities.
Cards and letter writing help people to stay connected. I love being able to help that happen. Many of my customers tell me that sending my cards means they will get a phone call from a loved one. I love working with customers to help then find just the right card with the perfect message. I have cards ready for almost every occasion (birthdays for adults and children, belated or humorous birthday cards, congratulations, graduation, engagements, weddings, anniversaries, new babies, new jobs, retirement, friendship, thank you, blank cards, get well, thinking of you and sympathy cards. I always have seasonal cards for any upcoming holidays and am happy to make custom cards too.
I sell my cards through my Facebook page, at local retirement homes, craft shows and Stop ‘n Shop events.
