Riverside Park: Guelph's gem for 114 years (14 photos)

A look through the camera lens at Guelph's busy and beautiful park

While Guelph’s Riverside Park is open for activities all-year round, it really shines once the days get longer and the temperature gets warmer.

Opened in 1905, the park’s name was selected in a name-the-park contest and it's now home to several annual events such as the Canada Day festivities, Multicultural Festival, Ribfest and Labour Day celebration.

The 80-acre park also attracts people on a daily basis to run, take a stroll, fish, check out the flowers and birds, play a game of slo-pitch or disc golf or just sit back and take it easy.
