Today is the first anniversary of the day we lost you. Some things haven't changed. The sun still rises, the day goes on and then the sun sets. What has changed is our lives without you in it. We try to comprehend and accept that you are no longer physically with us but that seems like a mountain so high to climb. How we miss your presence, your wit and your undivided loyalty. Life is cruel sometimes but knowing you are pain free is some solace. Dad and I will be ok as we have no other choice. We will always watch over your family like we said we would. Our hearts are forever broken but we know you would want us to keep moving forward. So fortunate are we to have had the most fabulous son for 41 years. Hoping that you feel the love and the pride we have for you. We will forever miss you and will always cherish the memories.
