I look down the road and ache to see you there. When I'm missing you, my being finds itself slipping into the ocean of those who have gone before, and since, and there, i imagine you, being your socially caring, cheery, and helpful self, with your corny sense of humour ...all in full tilt, and i think to myself - how fortunate those beings around you are... how precious your presence, how joyful and open your smiles will share in their lives. And when i think of you dear brother, as often i do, my heart too still smiles in my precious memories of you.
Now, you, with our mom and dad, our
niece, Sherry, and now too with our brother Kees by your side, no longer as blood, but as independent beings, can look at each other, and I'll bet, you'll all smile, all laugh, and love knowing, full well... what was important remains.
...remains here too.
Sending you my love, sometimes long distance and sometimes short, as now.. i, your sister, misses you deeply.
