Missing my Dad after 25 Years.I can now visit his grave without shedding a tear.Always,I think of you in November. After surviving as a WWII prisoner in France; walking home to Italy,to find no warm bed or food.Canada offered a new start only with hard work & the strength to live.Praise to my parents for everything. Not so much "lovey stuff" Dad said.Hugs & kisses were few.A war will do this. His funny faces with hat pulled down;laughing;we would beg him to stop.Dad loved hats. His saying was "you can have hair or brains but not both"I would pay to see & hear this again.Being social & finding work & a new home for new immigrants, made Dad shine! I remember you.I shed a tear.Of course you were not a saint. But In my heart I carry your strength of character.Thanks. Lili
