GuelphToday received the following Letter to the Editor from reader Rose Marie Branson, in response to an article regarding the death of Queen Elizabeth II.

I was quite surprised to read the tone of Adam Donaldson’s article on Queen Elizabeth in GuelphToday.
Maybe Adam should have taken a page on how the Queen spoke and conducted herself over the years. Not the flippant attitude he showed. And as an American who watches both CNN (who brought the story to the whole world, not just Canada), and the Canadian networks for their different views on the Queens last days to her final resting place, she was important to me, and I assume other Americans, in both common and different ways than Canadians, the Commonwealth and the rest of the world.
May she rest in peace.
