It’s official, Guelph voters will have their choice of seven candidates in the upcoming provincial election.

The registration deadline to run in the June 2 election passed on Friday, with seven people confirmed by Elections Ontario as vying for voter support in the Guelph riding.

They are:

Juanita Burnett of the Communist Party

Raechelle Devereaux representing the Liberal Party

Will Lomker carrying the New Blue banner

Peter McSherry of the Progressive Conservative Party

James Parr of the New Democratic Party

Mike Schreiner representing the Green Party

Paul Taylor from the None of the Above Direct Democracy Party.

In addition to in-person voting on June 2, Elections Ontario is offering a vote-by-mail option.
