Dublin St. United Church is hosting a vintage clothing sale to raise money for initiatives like refugee support.

It will be hosted at the church on 68 Suffolk St. W. on Saturday, Sept. 23, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday, Sept. 24, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

Items will be priced starting at $15. Cash, cheque, debit and credit are all accepted payment types. Shoppers are asked to bring their own bags.

Money raised will help the church continue to be an accessible building to community groups, support refugees, rent, food banks and a free community Christmas dinner.

“We knew our congregation and their friends had closets crowded with high quality items that they never, or no longer, used. When we asked we quickly received hundreds of gorgeous items, and great clothes in all sizes and for all occasions keep coming in,” said Heather Thompson, marketplace coordinator.

There have been over 500 items donated for the sale.

“We’re thrilled to help people de-clutter and contribute to the circular, re-use economy,” said Thompson.
