Habitat for Humanity Guelph Wellington (Habitat GW) is looking to the community this holiday season to help support their upcoming build projects.

“You may have someone in your life who doesn’t need or want more stuff, or is consistently hard to shop for," explains the team at Habitat GW. “We are hoping that throughout our community, our family, friends and neighbours will consider making a charitable donation instead of a gift – to give the gift of home.”

To recognize the donation, all those who choose to donate $50 or more will receive a festive card outlining Habitat GW’s current projects underway, as well as a family’s story that captures the impact their donation can have at an individual and community level.

In 2021, Habitat GW completed their Cityview Village project in Guelph, Ontario, bringing affordable homeownership opportunities to 22 families. Moving forward, Habitat GW is looking to expand its impact throughout the region as it works towards two new build projects in Fergus, ON and Guelph ON. These projects will create new opportunities for affordable home ownership, serving close to 35 families.

Donations can be made online at https://habitatgw.ca/giftofhome.
