Special weather statement in effect for:
- Guelph - Erin - Southern Wellington County
- Kitchener - Cambridge - Region of Waterloo
Significant rainfall possible tonight, Sunday and Sunday evening.
A low pressure system currently developing over the Western United States will move towards Southern Ontario during the weekend. Appreciable amounts of rain are likely in many areas especially Sunday and Sunday evening. Rainfall amounts of 25 to 40 mm are possible. There is also the risk of thunderstorms which would cause locally higher rainfall amounts.
