Nature Guelph and the Guelph Public Library are presenting a 4-part weekly introductory series on “Nature in the City” on Saturdays in April at the Main Guelph Public Library from 2-3 p.m.,

Each week will have a related walk, usually at 1 p.m. on the next day, Sunday but in some cases moved to May.

The series is a free, family-friendly, introduction for nature novices including newcomers to Guelph.

April 9: So you want to be a birdwatcher?
April 16: Exploring our native trees
April 23: Slimes and Scales: Reptiles and amphibians of Guelph
April 30: Beauty in our midst; Wildflowers in Guelph
