Public Health Ontario reported 454 new COVID cases today.
The latest updates noted 414 recoveries and nine new deaths.
The Nov. 10 updates provided by the province's public health agency and the ministry of health also reported the following data:
- 4,053 active, lab-confirmed cases, up from 4,022 yesterday.
- 243 people are hospitalized with COVID-19
- There are 116 COVID-positive patients in the ICU plus another 20 patients no longer testing positive for COVID-19.
- There are 64 COVID-positive patients on ventilators and another 10 patients on ventilators no longer testing positive for COVID.
- 11,107,758 Ontarians (about 75 per cent of the total population) have been fully vaccinated. 88 per cent of eligible Ontarians have at least one dose of vaccine.
- Included in the new cases reported today are 211 unvaccinated, 11 partially vaccinated, and 205 fully vaccinated people. 27 cases were reported with the vaccination status unknown.
- Hospitalized cases (not in the ICU) include 75 unvaccinated, 12 partially vaccinated, and 61 fully vaccinated individuals.
- ICU cases include 55 unvaccinated, four partially vaccinated and 16 fully vaccinated people.
- The seven-day average incidence rate by vaccination status is 7.6 cases per 100,000 unvaccinated people, 2.8 cases per 100,000 partially vaccinated people, and 1.8 cases per 100,000 fully vaccinated people.
- The province reported 33,364 tests were processed yesterday, resulting in a 1.8 per cent positivity rate.
- Of the new cases reported today, 42 are from Toronto, 33 are from Peel, 38 are from Simcoe-Muskoka, and 34 are from York Region.
- Today's new cases include 71 individuals under 12 years old, 60 youth between 12 and 19 years old, 40 people between 20 and 39 years old, 138 people between 40 and 59 years old, 57 people between 60 and 79 years old, and 23 people over 79 years old.
Public Health Ontario has confirmed 604,606 cases of COVID-19 since the start of the pandemic, and reported 590,641 recoveries and 9,912 deaths.
Since the start of the pandemic, 30,784 people have been hospitalized with COVID and 6,040 of them were in intensive care units.
The cumulative average incidence rate in the province is 4,103.5 cases per 100,000 people in Ontario.
Ontario's average weekly incidence rate last week was 22.3 cases per 100,000 people, which is up by 26 per cent compared to the week of Oct. 25.
