ROCKWOOD - The Township of Guelph/Eramosa will be hosting their third annual “Party in the Park” at Rockmosa Park, located at 110 Rockmosa Drive in Rockwood.

“Thanks to the generous support from Corey Young Insurance Group -The Cooperators and Tammy Samuels from Remax “Tammy Sells Rockwood” the Township is able to grow this free event for the third year in a row”, says Robin Milne, Director of Parks and Recreation.

Festivities begin Aug.1 at 5 p.m. and will host over 3,000 residents and guests from across the township and South Western Ontario.

“Each year this event gets bigger and better as we offer something different and exciting for all ages. I love hearing stories about residents that haven’t seen each other since their kids were in ball, soccer or whatever together and they are able to reconnect at this great community event.” says Robin Milne.

“Party in the Park is quickly becoming one of the most anticipated community events in Rockwood,” said Mayor White. “I encourage everyone to come out and enjoy this fantastic event which offers something for the whole family to enjoy,” he stated.

Party in the Park will offer live music, kid’s activities, food trucks, buskers, fireworks and much more! Visit our website www.get.on.ca for a complete list of events and entertainment.

East Wellington Community Services will be on hand to accept donations of non- perishable food items. Avoid parking issues and take your bike to the park. A staffed bike lock area will be available to secure your bikes while you enjoy the event. Accessible parking will also be available onsite.
