ICYMI: Three city parks set to be replaced by summer of 2025

City is looking for public input on designs

Three Guelph playgrounds are set to be replaced by summer 2025.

The playgrounds are; Colonial Drive Park, Holland Crescent Park and Highview Park.

The City of Guelph would like community input about the parks before the design process starts. People can share their feedback through a survey for each park from Feb. 6 to March 3.

Some feedback prompts are; what do you like about the current playgrounds, what would like to see in the designs and if there are specific accessibility features you would like to see in the playground.

After the information is collected it will be used to inform the design and what playground equipment will be included, said in a press release.

By the summer the designs should be shared with the community to receive further feedback.

There will be two designs for each playground.

Construction could start by spring 2025.
