Young person charged in Minto school bus fire investigation

TOWN OF MINTO — June 30, 2017 at approximately 8:00 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) along with The Minto Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire on Webb Street, Harriston. It was reported that a parked school bus was on fire.

Damages to the bus caused by the fire exceed $30,000.

OPP have concluded their investigation into the fire and have charged a 12-year-old young-person with Arson.

Anyone with any information about this occurrence is asked to contact the Wellington County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
