There are a variety of warm weather family fun events happening this weekend including biking, crafts, dancing and hiking

Saturday, June 3

Guelph Farmer's Market

2 Gordon St.; 8 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Check out an abundance of fresh produce, baked goods, beverages, and products from local meat producers

Grand Opening of the Crane Park Community Bridge

Dovercliffe Road; 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Planting and grand opening event. The city will supply all materials and tools. Just show up. Ribbon Cutting at 11:00 a.m. All are welcome.

Guelph Dance Festival

Numerous events on Saturday and Sunday including Dance in the Park (pay what you can) at Exhibition Park.

One of a Kind Craft Show

Paisley Square, 996 Paisley Rd.; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Handmade jewellery, gifts, pottery and more will be on sale at this second annual event. You can also pick up treats for both yourself and your dog. Rain or shine event.

Guelph Bike Month Kick-Off Event

Market Square, 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Kick-off event to signify the start of Bike Month in Guelph. There will be several bike-related vendors, musical entertainment, and food/beverages for any residents that would like to attend.

We Love Yorklands Walkathon and Social

12 pm to 3 pm at YGH, 785 York Rd, the former Ontario Reformatory site.

3 pm to 6 pm at Royal City Brewery for a social after the Walkathon.

Protect the Water Teach-In

Puslinch Optimist Recreation Centre - 23 Brock Rd. S., Puslinch

1:15 p.m. to 4 p.m.

An event focused on water protection education will feature a performance by Indigenous artist Logan Staats, presentations and videos from Wellington Water Watchers and water protector Layla Staats, a children’s craft area, a banner and sign making area and a march to the BlueTriton facility. 

Moccasin Identifier Project

Guelph Civic Museum 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

For a celebration of National Indigenous History month, everyone is invited to attend an important outdoor workshop held by the Moccasin Identifier Project.
