Passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of her family, at The Village of Riverside Glen, on Sunday, May 27th, 2018 in her 81st year. Predeceased by her beloved husband Robert (2009). Dear mother of Jo-anne, Christine (Andy), Tracy (Terry), Cathy, Larry and Robert. Loving Grams to Trisha, Victoria, Terra, Chad, Kristen, Dylan, Alex, Branden, Jailyn, Benjamin and Great Grams to Xavier, Mason, Sebastian and Serena-Mae. Predeceased by her parents Annie and Charles Rowland, and her 4 sister’s and 3 brother’s. Sheila will be missed by her many nieces, nephews and friends.
Sheila was an avid reader and made the BEST butter tarts in the world. She loved music and line dancing with her friends.
Many thanks to Dr. Kennedy and all the staff of Riverside Glen that provided phenomenal continuous care to Sheila and her family, during her time there.
A Celebration of Sheila’s Life will be held in the chapel of the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, 1099 Gordon St., Guelph on Friday, June 1st, at 11:00 am. Cremation has taken place. As expressions of sympathy, donation to the Lung Association, or charity of one’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Cards are available at the funeral home (519-821-5077).
