Passed away peacefully at the Wellington Terrace, on June 4th, 2017 in her 99th year. Edith Cavell Aitchison formerly of Elora, Toronto, Ennismore, Peterborough, and Guelph. Beloved wife of the late Morley Aitchison (1990). Loving aunt of Dan (Anne) Wright, Christine Wright, Roger Wright, Alex (Verna) Wright, George (Beth) Wright, Richard (Skandi) Gordon, Bruce Gordon, Jane (Bruce) Shorney and the late Diane (Dwight) Dew. Dearest aunt to many great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Ina Gordon and her husband Andrew, Beatrice Downs and her husband Jack, Jean Wright and her husband William John (Jack). Funeral Service will be conducted at the Graham A. Giddy Funeral Home & Chapel, 37 Church St. East in Elora, on Thursday, June 8th, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., with visitation from 11:00 a.m. Private family interment at the Elora Cemetery. Memorial donations can be directed to a charity of one’s choice.
