ANDERSON, M. Madeline

Passed away at the Caressant Care nursing Home in Arthur on Friday, February 17, 2017. Madeline (McManus) Anderson, in her 104th year, was the beloved wife of the late Harold C. Anderson (1965). She was the loving mother of James and his wife Pauline, Ronald and his wife Anne, John and his wife Linda, Gerald and his wife April, and Peter and his wife Jeanette. Madeline was the proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. She was the dear sister of Patrick McManus, and Audrey Shannon, and predeceased by Thomas, Jeremiah, John, Charles, Celestine, Agnes, and Geraldine. Survived also by many nieces and nephews. 

Resting at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, where the family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 22, 2017 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Vigil for Madeline will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at the Basilica of Our Lady 28 Norfolk St., Guelph on Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 11 a.m. Interment in Marymount Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or to the MS Society would be appreciated by the family.
