It is with a very heavy heart that we announce the passing of Sylvia. She passed away unexpectedly, but not without a fight on Thursday December 3, with her children by her side, she was 88 years young.
Loving wife of the late, John Anderson (1979). Syl was a social butterfly- adored by everyone who knew her. Syl has left an imprint that will be admired by many, which will help to fill the hole that has been left in our hearts. She was a devoted member of the legion (John McCrae Branch), a lover of tea, and never missed an episode of her favourite soap ~ The Young and the Restless.

Loving mother of Dawn Scott (Brent), Janice Hopping (Paull), Patty and Sean. A thoughtful grandmother, who will be missed dearly by grandchildren Britni, Chelsey, Brayden, Nicolas, Emerson, Katelynn, Jordan, Jasie and Corey. She was an adored great grandmother and will also be sadly missed by all of her great grandchildren, Everleigh, Will & Addie, Lucas & Reid, Andy and Audrey & Ava.
A celebration of life will take place on her birthday, April 27, 2021. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Guelph Humane Society 519-824-3091 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation 1-877-882-2582.
