It’s with great sadness that we share news of Michael’s quiet passing at his home on February 4, 2024. Peacefully and surrounded by family, Michael’s long battle has finally ended.
Predeceased by parents Kazmer and Margaret Aniol, brother Harry Aniol and sister Margaret Aniol, he is survived by his loving husband of 21 years William Malette, and will be deeply missed by his brother Clark Aniol (Maureen) and sisters Rosemary Aniol and Sandra Munro. Michael will be fondly remembered by nephews Mark (Connie) and Clark, his niece Chasidy Schweitzer (Derek) along with his many great nieces, nephews and friends.
A special thank you to doctors McFarlane and Dai for their care and compassion. As per Michael’s request, cremation has taken place and a private celebration of his life will be arranged at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to a charity of your choice would be greatly appreciated by the family.
