Passed away at Riverside Glen on Saturday, April 23, 2022 at the age of 91.
Mary was predeceased by her parents William and Nora Baker. Dearest sister to Lil Cunningham and special Aunt to her four nieces and nephews Linda Hanna, Carol Collins, Tom and Bill Cunningham and their families.
Mary was a very special lady, always phoning and singing to us on birthdays and anniversaries and always asking how all the pets were. She loved animals, doing jigsaw puzzles, corking and playing TV bingo.
To staff and friends (especially her roommate Diane) at College Place, where she resided for almost 30 years, we cannot thank you enough for being there for Mary.
Many thanks to the staff in the Emergency and ICU Departments at Guelph General Hospital for the special care given to Mary.
To the staff and residents (especially her roommate Lynda) in Erin Neighbourhood at Riverside Glen, a very special thank you. Your care and compassion given to our sister and Aunt during her short stay with you will never be forgotten. Mary so enjoyed her past 7 months with all of you.
Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held at Marymount Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051 / www.wallcustance.com.
In Mary’s memory, donations to The Guelph Humane Society or Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.
