Gale passed on peacefully in her home on Monday, December 18, 2023, surrounded by loved ones. Gale was the beloved wife to Gord Baldwin of 60 years. She was loved dearly by her daughter Cheryl (Rob) Figliuzzi, son Jason, and late daughter Justine (Scott) as well as many more family and friends. Gale was a proud and caring grandmother to her 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
When she wasn’t beating her family and friends in games, Gale pursued her more creative interests of sewing, scrapbooking, and gardening. In addition, her skills in knitting and crochet have left many personalized pieces that will be enjoyed by generations to come. She also enjoyed evenings cuddled up on the couch with Gord and their beloved dog, Charlie. We will miss Gale’s laughter, kindness, generosity, and compassion, but we find solace knowing that she has been reunited with her late daughter Justine. We love you, we miss you, and we will see you again.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday December 21, 2023 at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home 2723 Victoria St N, Breslau (519) 904-0400 from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8pm. A celebration of Gale’s life will be held on Friday December 22, 2023 at 11:00am at the Memory Gardens Funeral Home.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Guelph General Hospital, or the Guelph Humane Society would be appreciated by the Family.
