On Sunday April 18th, in the warm afternoon sun with her adoring dog,
Zeke by her side, Carolyn passed away, peacefully, because of a heart
condition she didn’t know she had.

Carolyn was the daughter of Jane Spencer and Robert Bamford, born on
March 19, 1977 in Toronto, Ontario. The loss is keenly felt by her
sisters Michelle and her partner, Berkley; Kristen and her husband
Rodger; and her brother Cory and his wife Rene. They were both family
and friends who always had her back. As she had theirs. Her life was
graced by Leslie Bamford, her stepmom and she is predeceased by Larry
Morrow, her very special stepfather.

Carolyn will be remembered by her many aunts and uncles, nieces and
nephews and cousins as a wonderful person….generous of spirit and full
of life. Her love and devotion to family and friends ran deep. We all
loved her full bodied laugh and her smile that could light up a room.

She embraced adventure, saw the world and made countless friends along
the way. Professionally, she was very successful in her chosen field of
IT, working with global insurance companies. Her goal was always to
improve service and make systems user friendly. She had a unique talent
to form bridges between people and technology.

Carolyn is currently resting at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son, Hart Chapel,
Guelph, following cremation. A memorial footstep will be placed in her
loving memory at the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Family Memorial Area in
the Rockwood Conservation Area. A celebration of her life will be held
in the future, when it is safe to be together. If you wish to make a
donation in her memory, she would be pleased if you gave to a Canadian
charity of your choice.

But mainly she’d prefer that we all try our best to take care of each
other; to make kindness a priority; to be sure the people we love know
we love them and to laugh as loud and long and as much as we can. That’s
how she lived and that’s why we love her.
