BANKI, Wendy

Passed away peacefully on March 6, 2017. Beloved wife of the late Alex Banki. Sadly missed by her son Stuart Wood and his wife Lynne, and deeply missed by her sister Valerie Wheaton. Wendy lived in Guelph for 20 years next door to her very dearest friends Ann Malcolm, Margaret Nixon, and David Calder. Until her retirement, Wendy worked for many years at the Graphic Design Company Herzig Somerville in Toronto, where she made many good friends over the years. Since her retirement, she enjoyed her horses and riding and will be fondly remembered by her friends from Golden Woods Riding School in Rockwood. Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 18, 2017 from 12:00 noon until 1:00p.m. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 p.m at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home ‘Hart Chapel’, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph. Donations to the Juravinski Cancer Centre would be appreciated by the family.
