Mae Barron (Nee Thomson) was born in Glasgow, Scotland on the 20th January 1931. Mae died at the age of 93 at the Palliative Care Program at St. Joseph’s Health Centre in Guelph on the 11th February 2024.

Mae was a beautiful, gentle, loving soul. She loved her family beyond measure. She was generous, kind and forgiving. She laughed easily. She accepted life’s difficulties with grace. Her kindness and purity of spirit truly radiated, and her empathic qualities drew people to her for advice and counsel which she willingly gave. To know her was to love her, and she will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of Mae’s life will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home on the 24th February 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 pm
