Of Guelph, formerly Sydney Mines, Cape Breton, passed away at St. Joseph’s Health Centre on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, in his 90th year.
Beloved husband the late Edith Holman (2015). Loved father of Jim (Dixie) Baxter and family; Christene (George), Jeremie (Tawnya), Tammy (Chad), and Dawn (Chris). Judy (the late Dan) Gaisford and family; Trisha (Brodie), and Sean. Bill (Val) Samuel and family; Beth (Jaril), and David (Kimberly). The late Jack (Susan) Samuel and family; Patrick (Tracey), Andrew (Erin), Matthew, and Aaron. He will be remembered by Trina Moore and family. Bill is the (great) Papa to Bronson, Jasmine, Caitlin, Tyler, Preston, Trista, Jackob, Chase, Brock, Sara, Hunter, Aiden, Rylan, Liam, Payton, and Cohen. Bill will be missed by many nieces and nephews. He is survived by his sister Rose and is predeceased by his parents Alexander and Mary, his five brothers, and three sisters.
