Peacefully surrounded by his family and friends at the Guelph General Hospital on Thursday, August 11, 2016, in his 77th year. Beloved husband of Belen for 47 wonderful years. Loving Dad to Eileen (Dennis), Abby and Colette (Adam). Cherished Lolo to Tasha, Daniel, Logan and Mya. Survived by his siblings Fred (Lolly), Jaime (Nancy), Conching (Mario), Remigo (Marilyn), Emmanuel (Beth). He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by his parents Miguel and Amparo, brother Perfecto and sister Norma. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Guelph General Hospital for their compassion, kindness and care. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Hart Chapel, 1099 Gordon Street, Guelph, where visitation will take place on Sunday, August 14, 2016 and Monday, August 15, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Funeral service will be held at Calvary Baptist Church, 454 Arkell Rd., Guelph on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Farnham Cemetery, Guelph. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Foundation of the Guelph General Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
