BELL, Jim

Passed away with family by his side at The Guelph General Hospital on October 11th in his 88th year. He was predeceased by his loving wife Evelyn in 2006 and by his 2 sons Ken in 1996 and Dennis as an infant. He will be sadly missed by his children David(Kim) and Donna(Tom). Also missing Jim will be his grandchildren Dennis, Jessica, Natasha(Adam), Jade(Tyler), Craig, Mathew(Brittany) as well as great grandchildren Haley, Leah, Lauren, Braydon and Thomas. Jim was uncle to Susan(Rod), David(Dar), Peter and many other nieces and nephews. Jim had many things in his life to be proud of, he was voted citizen of the year, long time Optimist Club member, former council member, graduate of The University of Guelph(1951), former Knox Church council member as well as a long time farmer in Pilkington township. Visitation will be held at The Graham Giddy Funeral Home, 37 Church Street in Elora on Monday October 15th from 2-4 and 
7-9pm. The funeral service will be held at The Knox Presbyterian Church in Elora on Tuesday October 16th at 11am followed by burial at The Elora Municipal Cemetery. Donations can be directed towards the Knox Presbyterian Church or The Groves Memorial Hospital Building Fund.
