BENEDETTI, Gisele Jacqueline

Passed away peacefully, with her family by her side at her home in Guelph on Tuesday, August 23, 2022. Gisele (Courtemanche) Benedetti in her 85th year, was the beloved wife of the late John Benedetti (2002). She was the loving mother of Cindy Benedetti, Shelley Post and her husband Doug, John Benedetti and his wife Danielle and Lisa Lakatos and her husband Joe. Mom always had a way of joking, and she kept her sense of humour right to the very end.

Gisele was a loving Nana and GG who will be incredibly missed by her grandchildren and her great grandchildren. She was very proud of each of them, and always looked forward to their visits, pictures and stories. Nana always kept in touch with them, learning to text and face time so that she never missed a special occasion. She was their greatest champion through all of their life events. Fur babies, Eddie and Kisses will miss their cuddles with Nana.

Gisele was born into a large, close-knit family and is predeceased by her 6 brothers and 4 sisters. She will truly be missed by her many nieces, nephews and good friends, all of whom held a special place in her heart.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. Monica Austin for her years of care and compassion and also to the Palliative Care Team at Bay Shore Nurses for all of their wonderful support.

Private cremation has taken place. Friends will be received at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph on Monday, August 29, 2022 from 1- 2 p.m. A Funeral Service will follow in the chapel at 2 p.m. Interment of cremated remains in Marymount Cemetery, Guelph.
