Billson Paul MM

...may you ride Go Karts, Harley's, Vettes, W30’s, Mini Bikes, and Roadrunners, aka The WEAPON, (featured in Motoring 91) on the Streets of Heaven with Barbara Joanne Lucille by your side!!  "Gooch" graduated to Classic Car Heaven on May 1st, 2021.

He was born to Jean Alice Speir and Gordon Emsley Billson on July 25th, 1946 in Toronto.  Paul was father to Kim Anne St. Pierre (Paul Clarke) & Gary Gordon Billson.   He was Grampa to Tina Wiecek (Paul Wiecek), Nick Horst & Roy McMullen.  Paul was Great Grampa to Sonya, Kaya, & Aaliya Wiecek and Muriel McMullen. Cousin to Kim Speir, Robin Speir Shadoff & Richard Billson

Paul's "Happy Place" was his huge shop where he had the most amazing collection of models, paintings, memorabilia....that is where you found the biggest smile and a story attached to each thing.  He worked at Pk's Classic Cars since 1978 and was an open book of knowledge. Prior to that he was a good friend and employee at Speedway Tire n Mag's Richard Bender. Although the kids spent most of their lives at Goodwood Race Track, they loved every minute of it.  Paul attended Hemi Nationals in Dayton Ohio, Hersey & Carlisle Car Shows with his beloved Barb.  He loved those muscle cars!!

Never an angry word was spoken between friends,  Red, Rude, Hollywood, Ray, Meekers, PK, (Car buddies) Colm, Harry, Richard (Karting Buddies) and too many to list.  He was the thread in the Karting & Classic Car Tapestry and he will be sorely missed.   He loved his dogs Killer & Mr. Magoo!  A very special bud to many.

So glad we all got to recap those old videos & pictures and have some last laughs.  Your departure came too soon and we all will miss you dearly.

Hats off to you "Gooch".

Cremation has taken place and there will be a Dedication of Life sometime in early summer. Arrangements entrusted to the WALL-CUSTANCE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL 519-822-0051.

A tree will be planted in memory of Paul G. Billson in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest.
